The College Showcase is for players that are sophomore to senior in high school looking to take their skills to a college or university baseball program.

In case of a field rainout, showcase will continue
with skills held indoors in the Merillat Complex at Huntington University.
Non-cleated shoe required in the Merillat Complex.

- Entry fee is due on or before August 17th, 2012. Please make checks payable to "OnTurf Sports, LLC" on pay using PayPal. An additional fee of $10 will be added after the due date or for on-site registration.
- A signed OnTurf Registration and Waiver/Consent Form is required to participate in the College Showcase.

- 10 AM check-in required.
- Warm-up on your own until Skills Workout begin at 11 AM.
- All players must be in baseball attire.
- Skills Workout:
- All: 60 Yard Dash
- Pitchers: See Team Game Play below
- Catchers: Catch and throw pop times to Second Base
- Middle Infield(from SS): ground balls
- (2) at you
- (2) glove side
- (2) backhands
- (1) slow roller
- First Basemen: ground balls
- (2) at you throw to third base
- (2) double play behind runner
- (2) double play holding runner
- (1) slow roller throw to third base
- Third Basemen: ground balls
- (2) at you
- (2) glove side
- (2) backhands
- (1) slow roller
- Team Game Play:
- Substitution of all players by designated coaches. Lineups are preset to give each player equal amount of playing time.
- Pitchers:
- All games will be a controlled (6) batters to the plate per each half inning. If three outs are recorded, bases will be cleared.
- In case of a base on balls (BB), same hitter stays in box and starts a new "at bat" with a 1-1 count. If BB again, hitter will take first base.
- In case of a hit by pitch (HBP), same hitter stays in box and starts a new "at bat" with a 1-1 count. If BB, hitter will take first base.
- Each pitcher will warmup in Bullpen prior to his turn in the rotation.
- Fastball, Change-up and offspeed pitch will be recorded for velocity prior to the first batter in each rotation.
- Each Pitcher will get (3) batters.
- General Information:
- Huntington University Players will be on-site.
- Ask questions and display your skills
- Game Time Limit: Each pitcher will complete a minimum of 3 batters and batters will complete a minimum of 2 at-bats.
