FITNESS ON THE FARM EXPERIENCES



Experience the joys of nature with a meal in this beautiful farm setting.

Meal Includes the following:
  • Choice of one - Grilled Wagyu Beef Burger or Housemade vegetarian black bean burger
  • Vegetable pasta salad

The Farmstead at Joseph Decuis Bed & Breakfast at 6756 E. 900 South. Located directly across the street from the farm, this 1884 Indiana homestead has been meticulously restored and updated. 3 bedrooms in the antique home and 2 additional garden suites all have their own private baths. 3 rooms have king beds and the other 2 are queen-sized beds. Course Maps


The 1 mile course is paved road surface the gives views of different features of the farm including the certified garden, lake, cattle, home, barns and woods. The 5k course is a 6 to 8 foot wide trail through the farm made up of grass, gravel, a bridge crossing and pavement. Experience the wooded and open areas with lush trees, water features, farm operations and animals!

Race Information


  • Online Registration Only for this experience.
  • Timing for each event is left up to the participant.
  • The event will be held rain or shine.
  • No day of Entries or entries after August 23rd.
  • There will be NO entry fee refunds.
  • Race registration will close once the maximum field is reached, regardless of the date.
  • Registrations are NOT accepted by phone or by fax.
  • Only one participant per entry form.
  • Waiver MUST be signed in order to process the entry form.
  • All participants MUST finish within the time limit established for each event.

General Information

Course Regulations

The Fitness on the Farm race officials have the right to disqualify or remove any participant from the course whose activity violates any condition set forth or who poses any potential harm to himself/herself or any other participant.

The following are strictly prohibited at all times by participants:
Strollers
Bicycles (including hand crank bicycles)
Motorized or gear driven vehicles of any kind
Skateboards or similar

All participants are required to wear the bib number that has been assigned to them. Participants without a visible bib number will be removed from the course.

Course Time Limit

The 1 mile time limit is 30 minutes The 5k time limit is 1 hour 30 minutes.
5k = 3.1 miles

Headphones and Ipods

Hear the peace and quiet of nature! The Fitness on the Farm race officials ask that participants do not wear headphones, ipods or similiar devices in the interest of safety. In case of an emergency, race officials will need to communicate with participants.

Each race participants will be responsible for their own timing.
